Vergel Waterfall, Potosi

Located just three kilometers to the north from Toro Toro Town, the Vergel waterfall offers to its visitors a contrasting landscape after rocky canyon formations. The Vergel waterfall is fed by a subterranean spring that pours out over the side of the rock wall, forming a cool cavern that allows visitors to stand directly under it or even behind it.

Thanks to the waters, nature also makes it a greener place full of ferns, moss, lianas and lichens. These cover the rocky formations imitating a green net. Several small natural pools of clear water ideal for a bath are also located in the same area .

To visit the el Vergel waterfall, the visitors must hire a local guide upon arrival to Toro Toro town or book a complete tour of the Toro Toro natural attractions. According to the travel arrangements El Vergel can be visited by car or trekking by the area with local guides.

All visitors must register in the Toro Toro Tourism office, located in the town main square, to buy the Toro Toro National Park entrance ticket ( Nationals: Bs. 20 , Foreigners: Bs. 30)
