Getting to Bolivia by air

Bolivia has 3 international airports located in the cities of La Paz, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz.

Most of the airlines have daily flights to La Paz or Santa Cruz from the main cities in South America and some additional flights from Europe. The most common connections from Europe are made in Lima, Perú; Sao Paulo, Brasil; or Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Many airlines are shifting their operations from La Paz to Santa Cruz, mostly due to costs and efficiency. From the 4th of July, 2018 American Airlines will stop operating from La Paz and will instead fly to Miami from Santa Cruz.
