Huayllas Mountain is located just five minutes away from Toro Toro town by car. This spot is particularly popular due the dinosaurs footprints located on the side wall of the mountain: proof that this rocky place was once a swamp full of life.

Among the most extraordinary treasures of Toro Toro National Park are the fossils and the 80 million year old dinosaur footprints located at Wallyas Mountain. The visitors just need to trek the Huayllas Mountain to discover tracks of enormous Mastodon, Brontosaurus and several herbivorous species.

To get to Huayllas Mountain, the visitors must hire a local guide upon arrival to Toro Toro town, or book a complete tour of the Toro Toro natural attractions. According to the travel arrangements Wayllas Mountain can be visited by car or trekking across the Toro Toro river.

Note

All visitors must register in the Toro Toro Tourism office, located in the town main square, to buy the Toro Toro National Park entrance ticket
