Elevation: 3,656 mDepart Uyuni at 10:00 AM heading to Colchani village to observe traditional artisanal salt harvesting. Enter the Salar de Uyuni to photograph the Dakar Rally salt monument and Plaza de Banderas. Drive across the pristine salt flats to Incahuasi Island, a prehistoric coral reef covered in giant Trichocereus pasacana cacti up to 1,000 years old. In the afternoon, explore perspective-play photography and conclude with sunset wine toasts across the mirror flats.
Day 2: Train Graveyard, Altiplanic Lagoons & Flamingo Sanctuaries
Elevation: 3,656m → 4,523 mVisit the historic Uyuni Train Graveyard featuring 19th-century British steam locomotives. Continue south through the mining enclave of San Cristóbal and the volcanic formations of the Valley of the Rocks (Alota).
