Itinerary:
Day 1
Pick up from your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile.
Shared tourist transportation from San Pedro de Atacama to the border-crossing at Hito Cajones. You will go through the immigration procedures and have breakfast at the Hito Cajones border.
After breakfast you will meet with your Bolivian driver to begin your private tour.
During the day you will visit the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve. The Green Lagoon has an amazing green color and offers spectacular views of the Licancabur Volcano looming over it. After a short stop at Laguna Blanca (White Lagoon) close by you will continue towards the Salvador Dalí Desert.
You will make a stop at Sol de Mañana Geysers and marvel at the pink flamingos in the blood-red waters of Laguna Colorada.
Lunch will be provided during the tour. Drinks during lunch included.
Lodging and dinner at Hostal Latitudes. The room includes private bathroom and hot water. The hostel does not have heating.
Day 2
Breakfast.
First you will visit the Árbol de Pierda (Stone Tree) and then the colored Siloli Desert. You will make several stops at the Minor Lagoons: Cañapa, Hedionda (Stinky), Honda (Deep) and Turquiri Lagoons. The scenery and wildlife in the region is amazing and you will be able to take aweseome photos.
Before reaching Uyuni you will stop at the Rock Valley and the Train Cemetery.
Lunch will be provided during the tour. Drinks during lunch included.
Lodging at the Hotel Luna Salada in Colchani near Uyuni. The rooms include private bathroom, hot water, heating and Wifi Internet.
Day 3
Breakfast.
You will start the day by visiting the Salt Statue erected to commemorate the passing of the the Dakar Rally. The Former Salt Hotel Playa Blanca nearby is also a well-known attraction.
You will observe the Ojos del Salar (Eyes of the Salt Flat). These are holes in the salt where the water flowing beneath the salar reaches the surface. The water is thought to have medicinal benefits due to its high mineral content.
The next stop is Isla Incahuasi. Giant milennial cactii cover this ancient coral island, a true testament to the resilience of life even in this barren salt desert. From the top of the island (hill, actually), you will be able to take spectacular photos of the vast white expanse around you and the towering Thunupa volcano in the distance.

At around 14:30 you will arrive at the Ollague border and after completing the migration procedures you will board a Chilean vehicle that will transport you to Calama.
