Upon arrival in Copacabana we will visit the Copacabana Basilica that boasts a mixture of renaissance and barroque styles. Inside, the main altarpiece is barroque style and behind it is the famous chamber of the Virgin of the Candelaria or Virgin "Morena", whose chapel is always open and is one of the most visited pilgrimage centers in Bolivia.

Later we will take a shared tourist boat and travel about an hour and a half to reach the south side of the Sun Island (Isla del Sol). This mystic place was considered the cradle of creation by the Inca culture and their descendants. Legend tells that on this island Manco Capac and his wife Mama Ocllo initiated the Inca dynasties and from here they went on to found Cuzco.

From Yumani hill you can view the tacanas (agricultural terraces). The tacanas are a traditional method of cultivation used by the inhabitants of the Sun Island (Isla del Sol) since the time of the Incas.
