Bramadero or the Refuge of the Mountain, is located at the bottom of the Mountain of Chataquila, at 35 kilometers from the capital of Chuquisaca. It has several and very comfortable cabins, which allow visitors to enjoy a very unique view of the entire area.

The surrounding forests, brooks and rocky landscapes make for great hiking terrain of 14 diffrent routes with the bonus of rock paintings, dinosaur footprints, a prehispanic trail (Inca Trail), a colonial chapel of Chataquilla as well as the area's famous weaving villages. Activities include cloud viewing as well as bird-watching with a telescope and oganize wine tasting nights.
