Day 1

San Pedro de Atacama - Hito Cajones - Laguna Verde (Green Lagoon) - Siloli Desert

07:00 Pick up from your Hotel in San Pedro de Atacama.

Shared tourist transportation from San Pedro de Atacama to the border crossing at Hito Cajones. You will go through migration at the Chilean migration office and at the Bolivian migration office.

After migration, you will have breakfast and board a Bolivian 4x4 vehicle.

During the day you will visit the Eduardo Avaroa National Park. This breathtaking region is Bolivia's most visited protected area. Located at an altitude between 4,200 m (13,800 ft) and 5,400 m (17,700 ft) in the south Lipez, it extends over an area of 714,745 hectares (1,766,170 acres)

We will take you to visit the most important natural wonders of Eduardo Avaroa National Park such us the White Lagoon, the Green Lagoon, the Salvador Dalí Desert, Polques thermal bath, geysers, Colorada Lagoon (Red Lagoon), Los Flamencos view point, The Stone tree and the Colored Desert.

Lunch will be provided during the tour. Beverages during lunch included.

Accommodation at Hotel del Desierto Tayka: Double twin room with private bathroom. Hot water and heating until 21:30 hrs.

Day 2

Siloli desert - Minor Lagoons - Salar de Uyuni

07:00 We travel north leaving Eduardo Avaroa National Park to visit High Andean Jewelry route.

This route features gorgeous high Andean Lagoons surrounded by painted mountains.

We will stop at four Lagoons: Cañapa Lagoon, Hedionda Lagoon, Honda Lagoon and Chiarkota Lagoon. You will see pink flamencos and Andean birds living in the lagoons.

This area features impressive mountains and volcanos. You will have the opportunity to observe the Ollague semi active Volcano on the way to Uyuni.

Lunch will be provided during the tour. Beverages during lunch included.

We will reach the world's largest salt flat "The Salar de Uyuni"

The Salar was formed as a result of transformations between several prehistoric lakes. It is covered by a few meters of salt crust, which has an extraordinary flatness where the average elevation varies less than one meter over the entire area of the Salar. The crust serves as a source of salt and covers a pool of brine, which is exceptionally rich in lithium. It contains about 50% of the world's known lithium reserves.

In the middle of the Salt Flat is the Incahuasi Island, home to hundreds of ancient giant cacti. We will climb up the hill to have better views of the Salt Flat.

During your stay in the salt flat you will see piles of salt, the eyes of the Salt Flat and former salt Hotel named Playa Blanca.

Your journey wouldn't be complete without enjoying a beautiful sunset inside the Uyuni Salt Flat.

After the sunset we will transport you to Uyuni town.

We will end the tour at 19:00 hrs approx..
