Todo Turismo Bus General Information

Todo Turismo Bus offers daily overnight trips from La Paz to Uyuni and back.

The journey from La Paz to Uyuni takes around 11 to 12 hours; while traveling from Uyuni to La Paz takes from 10 to 11 hours.

The Bus departure schedule is ideal to save time traveling from one point to the other.

Todo Turismo Bus has daily departures from La Paz to Uyuni at 21:00 hrs. Travel duration: 11/12 hours.

Bus departures during rainy season are generally earlier and it depends mainly on weather conditions. The Bus departure time should be confirmed during rainy season (December, January, February and March) 24 hours before the departure date, by telephone.

Todo Turismo Bus has daily departures from Uyuni to La Paz at 20:00 hrs. Travel duration: 10/11 hours.

Bus departures during rainy season are generally earlier and it depends mainly on weather conditions. The Bus departure time should be confirmed during rainy season (December, January, February and March) 24 hours before the departure date, by telephone.

Todo Turismo Bus departure point in Uyuni is Cabrera Street W/N (between Bolivar and Arce Street.

Passengers need to print the E-ticket and present it to Todo Turismo agents before starting their trip . Valid photo ID is required to validate the E-ticket.

Terms and Conditions:

• Allowed Baggage: 1 piece of 20 Kg. approximately.
• Insurance coverage: of Usd. 300. for medical assistance in case of accident. In case of death by accident Usd. 3.000g.of coverage.
• Insurance not include: Modifications and Cancellations

Cancellations have a fee penalty according to the next scale list:

• Within 10 days of departure, 20% fee of the total price.
• Within 9 to 6 days of departure, 30% fee of the total price.
• Within 5 to 3 days of departure, 50% fee of the total price.
• Within 2 to 1 days of departure, 100% fee of the total price.

Modifications have a fee penalty according to the next scale list:

• All modifications prior 48 Hrs. to departure have penalty fee of Us$. 7.-, within 48 Hrs. 100% fee of the total price.
• If the Company decides not to operate the bus frequency due to external factors, out of our control, we will change your reservation without penalties.
• If the Passenger decides not to travel due to an external factor, and the Company decides to operate normally, the cancellation fee will be applied.
• Due to external factors, out of Todo Turismo control ( weather conditions, block roads, etc) Todo Turismo S.R.L. reserve the right to change the route La Paz/Uyuni/La Paz without any previous notice.
• When you buy your ticket, you are automatically accepting Terms and Conditions mentioned in this voucher.

Where does Todo Turismo Bus Travel?

What do I need to bring with me in order for me to be able to board the bus?

We will send you a Bus E-ticket in advance. You need to print it out and show it to Todo Turismo agents with a valid photo ID.

How long does the trip take?

The average trip duration is 10 to 12 hours, depending on traffic and weather conditions. Todo Turismo Bus is not liable for delays caused by accidents, road blocks, breakdowns, road conditions, weather and other conditions beyond its control.

How much in advance do I have to arrive at the bus stop? What happens if I am late?

Passengers should arrive at least 45 minutes before departure time. When you are late you lose your seat and the funds you used to purchase the seat.

Can I purchase a ticket for someone else?

Yes. You can book a seat on our website for a passenger other then yourself and pay with PayPal.

Do I have to pay when making a reservation?

Yes. Payment is required when you make your reservation. Payments are made via PayPal.

Is there assigned seating on your buses?

Yes, once the payment is made we'll forward you a Todo Turismo Bus e-ticket with assigned seats.

Does the owner of the credit card with which the ticket is purchased need to be one of the passengers?

No. A passenger can use any card to pay for the ticket via PayPal, not necessarily his own.

Can I cancel my reservation and get a refund?

Tickets are refundable only if you cancel your trip 10 to 3 days prior to your departure.

Within 10 days of departure, 20% fee of the total price.
Within 9 to 6 days of departure, 30% fee of the total price.
Within 5 to 3 days of departure, 50% fee of the total price.

Todo Turismo Bus tickets are non-refundable if the cancellation is made 3 days in advanced of the departure date. The bus ticket will be only good for travel on the schedule and date that you have purchased. We therefore ask you to please be definite about your travel plans before booking a seat with Todo Turismo. If you miss your bus you lose your seat and the funds used to purchase the seat.

Can I change the date or time of my reservation?

Yes. You can change the date or time of your reservation as long as it is at least 48 hours prior to your trip. Modifying reservations can be done by emailing us.
All modifications prior 72 Hrs. to departure have penalty fee of Us$. 7.- within 48 Hrs. 100% fee of the total price.

I missed the bus. Do I get refund?

Todo Turismo does not provide any refund.

Is smoking or alcoholic beverages allowed on the Todo Turismo bus? How about snacks and other beverages?

In order for us to secure the health and safety of passengers and drivers, smoking and drinking of alcoholic beverages is not allowed on any Todo Turismo buses. Todo Turismo Bus reserves the right to refuse to transport to (A) a person under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, (B) anyone who is incapable of taking care of him/herself. (This does not apply to persons who are accompanied by an attendant or nurse), or (C) anyone whose conduct is such or likely to be such as to make him or her objectionable to other passengers or prospective passengers. Passengers may transport unopened alcoholic beverages in their luggage for use at their destination. Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks are ok as long as they do not annoy the other passengers and the bus is kept clean. Always keep your medicines and valuables with you. Do not leave them in your stowed baggage.
